Screen 1 (20 mins)

Set up

- split into teams

- both teams to play in blue zone and speed zone

- one team to do agility whilst the other team does circits(red zone)

- spend 5-6 minutes in each zone

Red zone (circuit training)

-30 seconds on each exercise

-A- two footed jump over hurdle

-B- two players face each other in a plank position

-C- burpees

-D- sit ups

Blue zone

-different ball games i.e posession games, two in the middle,keep ups between groups

Agility

-player starts in yellow cones then runs through the slalom poles and when the player reaches the blue cones the coach will shout out a colour of a cone and wiich colour pole to run around, player the sprints back to yellow cones and waits his turn.

-repeat 3 times

Progression

- pass a ball when the player is running towards a coloured cone

Speed

-player starts at the red cones and runs towards the poles

- coach calls out a colour and player goes through poles and runs towards the colour cone

- another colour is called and the player has to run backwards to the poles turn and run to the new colour

- continue for 1 minute
