- Light jog to coach

- Coach moves backward after players return to start

Technical Warm-up #1 (15 mins)

Duration: 10 min

Intensity: Low Activity Time: 2 min, Recovery: 30 sec

ORGANIZATION:

10 x 30-yard rectangle (or as needed)

- On the coach’s command, A1 plays a one-two with the wall passer before the gate.

- Upon receiving the return pass, A1 passes through the gate to B1 and follows his pass, applying passive pressure to B1.

- B1 plays a one-two with the wall passer around A1, before passing through the gate to A2.

- A1 joins the back of the B queue. The sequence continues.

*Switch wall passer

COACHING POINTS:

- Good contact w/ the ball

- Locked ankle

- Proper movement off the ball

*Progression:

- One touch pass

Technical Warm-up #2 (15 mins)

Intensity: Med Activity Time: 5 min, Recovery: 1 min

ORGANIZATION:

20 x 10-yard

- Play starts with Player 1 who passes to Player 2

- Player 2 returns pass to Player 1; Player 1 then returns ball to Wall Passer

- Wall Passer returns ball to Player 1

- Player 1 receives and then plays a long ball to Player 3

- Player 2 goes to start cone

- Wall Passer follows Player 1 to opposite red cone

- Player 3 passes to Player 1; Player 1 returns to Player 3 and goes to end of line

- Player 3 passes to Wall Passer who returns back to Player 3

- Player 3 plays long pass to player at opposite yellow cone and sequence continues

*Switch Wall Passer

COACHING POINTS:

- Good contact w/ the ball

- Locked ankle

- Proper movement off the ball

- Bending run to receive and return a good pass

*Progression:

- One touch pass

Small Sided Activity (15 mins)

Intensity: Med, Activity Time: 7 min, Recovery: 1 min, # of repetitions: 3

ORGANIZATION:

30 x 25 (or as needed)

- 3 v 3 w/ 1 Neutral player inside

- The defensive (D) player positioned behind the shooting zone can stop the opposition scoring in one

of the goals by standing behind it.

- D player can also be used as an attacker when their team has possession, but they can only receive a pass when they’re inside the end zone and they must swap positions with the player who passed them the ball.
