Objective

'Whole' part of the session that incorporates Attacking Technical and Tactical role rehearsal within the warm-up environment. Intensity to be controlled and gradually incresed and/or decreased to suit individual demands and preparation

Technical

1. Movement - position specific

2. Receiving skills - select body part

3. Passing skills - set

Tactical

1. Movement of the CF - drop & spin,

2. Movement of midfield players off the long pass - reacting to triggers - towards goal

3. Defenders split, CB can receive half turn and play forward. FB can receive half turn and play centrally.

Part Practice - 1v1-4v4

Session Objectives: Receiving the ball to play forward and maintain momentum

1v1 in the middle, receive the ball to try and turn/ keep forward momentum going to reach opposite target player. If ball is transfered successfully the attacker keeps the ball. If the player cannot receieve the ball forward he can play back to target player who will then transfer it across. Upon this happening possession is switched to the other player.

Progress to 2v1, 2v2, 3v3.
