Jack Hill Throw-in game situation (20 mins)

Player 1 (Blue and white kit)

Player 2 (Red and black kit)

Player 1 starts the with the ball, restarting play with a throw in. The ball is played to Player 2 from the throw in and has two touches to return the ball to the onrunning Player 1 - Touches can be developed by using different parts of the body (chest, thigh ect.) depending on the players ability. - Then a pass and go basis is applied as Player 2 sprints to the highlited area (edge of the box) once Player 1 is past the 18yrd line a pause in stride from Player 2 will allow for space and time for a shot. One touch is advised no more no less as a game situation wouldnt allow much time.

To develope the drill, add a defender running inbetween the two players to apply pressure and make the drill more adaptable to a game situation. This drill is also helpfull as it can be performed on the opposite side of the pitch in a mirrored fasion. If the drill is struggleing to flow properly cones can be used to indicate where players should run to and gates to use as a guidline where to pass.
