Teaching Points:

- Being ahead of the ball

- Having depth and width to your play

- Being aware of what's around you

Set Up:

- Red and blue players have to pass the ball and play it into the red squares.

- Players in black have to try and tag red and blue players with the ball.

Scoring:

- If the red and blue players get the ball in a red square they get 1 point.

- If the players in black tag the player with the ball they lose their points - must keep ball close!

Progressions/Adaptations:

- Red and blue players start in different halves

- Players in black can tag any player even if the red/blue player doesnt have the ball. Gets players to be aware of what is around them.

Rotate the practice so each team has 2 chances to attack.
