Technical Warm Up

Organization:

- Players organize into pairs with a ball between each pair

Instructions:

- Technical warm-up in pairs

- One touch passing

- Progressions: two touches, two touches on the same foot, volley back and forth keeping the ball in the air, receive on thigh and volley back keeping in the air, receive on the chest then volley back, thigh, then chest, then volley back, thigh then head and volley back, chest, thigh, head and volley back, then one touch back and forth adding a number each time

5v4 Transition

Organization:

- Two fields, 20x20 or adjusted as needed

- Two teams of 5 players

Instructions:

- 5v4 in one grid with one player from the defending team waiting in the open grid for a quick transition

- If the defending team wins the ball, they quickly play out into the next grid and they now maintain possession in a 5v4

- 1 point for every ten passes, one point every time the defending team wins the ball and successfully plays out to the teammate on the other side
