Football/Soccer Session (Academy Sessions): Combination and movement of strikers

striker combination (35 mins)

Session Objective: To develop movement in advance and combinations from front players.

Organisation:

Player specific.Pitch divided into three.Blue players at each end are defenders.Red players at each end are attackers.Players in centre play red v blue but must play to a striker in end zone regardless of which colour they are themselves.

Ball served initially from blue defender and blues try to play ball to striker when possible.Strikers then try to run ball over line at end of either A or B.Defenders defend and if win ball play it to either tem in centre who then try to feed ball to striker at opposite end and so on.

Encourage movement in advance from strikers,combinations and movement off ball to create space for each other.
