Warm up (10 mins)

Set Up: Three areas, one circle, one triangle, one square. 3 players, with ball each, in each area.

The Game: "King of the ring", players aim to kick the other players' footballs out of the area, whilst keeping control of their own. If a player's ball goes out of the area, they retrieve it and carry on. Groups change area every two minutes

The ask: Think about the area you are playing in and where the space may be. This will change from area to area.

Overload/outnumbered game (25 mins)

Set Up: Two pitches next to each other. Two gates at each end.

The game: One pitch starts 1v1, whilst the other starts 4v4. Players score by running ball through one of their two target gates. When a player scores in the larger game, they move on to the other pitch. This will create overloads/outnumbered situations on both pitches, that will continue to change.

Scoring: Score on the right pitch will be counted, so players aim to get across to that pitch to create overloads. Allow play to continue until all players are on the right hand pitch
