WU: Movements

SET UP:

-Four different coloured zones with a team in each.

-Perform different movements in each coloured zone: sprinting, jumping, side to side, backwards etc

PROGRESSIONS/ALTERNATIVES:

-One tagger fixed in each grid, other colours must run into his square, steal a ball (Which will be set on the outter line)then carry it back to their grid and set it on their outter line. If tagged you are frozen and can only be set free when high fived by a team mate. The team with the most balls wins.

KEY POINTS:

-Be creative with your movements

-Quick changes of direction to evade the tagger

-Working with your team mates to outnumber the tagger

SET UP:

-Four different coloured zones with a team fixed in each

-Each team has two balls and must play a pass into another grid, when the other teams pass into your grid you must control the ball and pass it with the ball landing in that grid. The team with the least balls in their grid wins.

PROGRESSIONS/ALTERNATIVES:

-Handpassing to start

-Passing in pairs/teams (number dependent), make three passes in each grid with the winners being the first team to do so.

-Must be in a different box than your partner

-Must play a pass into another box for your partner/team mate

KEY POINTS:

-Passing technique: standing foot close to ball, inside of foot to strike through middle of the ball

-Weight of pass to ensure the ball stays in the other teams grid (otherwise it won't count)

-Find space for your partner/team mate to pass to

-Passing to feet or infront depending on space

SET UP:

-Four different coloured zones with one defender from each team fixed in their zone

-Must make three passes in each grid without the defender touching the ball

PROGRESSIONS/ALTERNATIVES:

-Handpassing

-All colours fixed in their box and one person from each colour goes into another box as the defender to make it 3v1. If the defender wins the ball they try to dribble back into their grid to get one point. 2 passes results in a goal for the passing team

-Find space for your partner/team mate to pass to

-Passing to feet or infront depending on space

CG: Passing game

SET UP:

-Four different coloured zones with 3 teams inside the grid

-One team defends and the other two have a ball each and attack either of the two goals

PROGRESSIONS/ALTERNATIVES:

-Each of the two attacking teams can only score in one goal

-3 passes need to be made before a goal can be scored

-Have to play into each of the 4 zones before scoring

-Two team match with one team on the sides providing support for the team in possession

-Each defensive player is fixed in a zone but attackers are free to move & help team mates creative an overload in another box

-Passing technique: standing foot close to ball, inside of foot to strike through middle of the ball

-Find space for your partner/team mate to pass to
