Passing Warm Up (10 mins)

This is a warm-up drill where the central defender (1) passes to the full-back (2) who sets it back to the central defender to pass into the central midfielder (3). The central midfielder sets his defensive midfielder (4) to pass up to the striker (5) who sets the ball to the "10" (6). "10" sets it back to the striker and the drill repeats itself from the top. This is a position specific warmup drill that can be progressed and varied to suit the coach. This should be done at a light tempo and focus on the quality of passing more so than the running. Progress to working on the movement off the cone.
