Technical Game-1v1 dribble and attack (20 mins)

Equipment: 25 cones, 6 balls, 13 players. (Adjust to group size)

Setup: Create play area 30x30 or 40x40 depending on group size. Create 2 gates each 5 yds apart for each defender. they can be placed anywhere on the perimeter of the play area. Always have one more defender than attacker based on your group size.

Activity: Assign one defender to each set of 2 gates(In this example 6). One additional defender is free to roam around the play area. The remaining players all have a ball. Their task is to dribble around the play area and attempt to dribble out any of the gates so long as the defender is not already engaged by another player. If successful they get a point. They must then dribble back to the centre cone and attempt another gate. If a defender is able to clear the attackers ball from them out of the play area, they will receive a point. The attacker must collect their ball dribble back to the centre cone an attempt again. The one free defender is allowed to move about freely and assist at any gates.
