Warm-Up (15 mins)

WARM - UP

-Soccer/Basketball

-Dynamic Stretching

-Skipping (leave soccer/basketball, complete 30 skips and back in again)

-1 ball/2 players. Player 1 holds ball and player 2 does volley to reach the ball (laces/outside foot)

-Lunghes x 4 and star jumps (incorporated with ball work)

-Small steps at speed

-Volleys with thighs and from side to hands of other players

Speed Training (15 mins)

SPEED WORK

1) Jump for header , shuffle to side at pace to 2nd and 3rd cones. Work 30 secs and rest 60 secs

2) Jump for header , sprint sideways to cone 1, touch cone , sprint to central cone, jump for header , sprint to cone 3 , touch it on ground and sprint to final cone. Work 30 secs and rest 60 secs

3) Sprint forward to cone 1, sprint backwards to starting cone and sprint to side then repeat work breaking to opposite side. Work 30 secs , rest 60 secs

Soccer Endurance (15 mins)

SOCCER ENDURANCE

Players work in pairs. Player 1 plays as GK rolls ball into space. Player 2 sprints to ball, takes 10 quick touches and takes shot back into GK arms. Gk rolls ball out again to different area and player retrieves ball and shoots again at GK. After 2 mins, players change positions

FAST PACED SSG'S WITH TENNIS BALL (3V3)

Set up multiple SSG's 3v3 in small-courts
