Setup:
3 side by side grids - each grid 20x20
3 teams of 4 (extra player act as 2nd CB)
Activity:
Attacking teams are stuck in zone but can switch to each other. Defensive team is trying to win ball and score by either playing to central player (1 point) or scoring goal (3 points).
Coaching Points:
~ Pressure making play predictable
~ "See one, screen one" for cover defenders
~ Reading the cues of initial pressure to determine position: tight pressure->tight cover and vice versa

Activity:
Ball starts with goalie and the blue team tries to build out of the back with 2 ways to score: A) Dribble through gate (progress to pass through). B) Play long ball into 2 Center forwards (if too easy, require forwards to dribble over endline)
Coaching Points:
~ 7/11 channel play inside
~ 9 cut off weakside CB
~ 10 play ball-side/goal-side on opp. CM
~ 4/5 play ball-side/goal-side on opp. CF

Make sure the half line is there since offside applies across it.
Blue team in 1-2-2-2
White team in 2-3-2
Activity:
Blue scores by getting possession of ball into scoring zone (either by building up or via long ball).
White team scores in big goal.
Ball starts in various places (GK, throw in, kick off)
Offside applies in attacking half.
Coaching Points:
~ 4/5 - one steps to win ball, the other covers;
~ 4/5 - If CF facing own goal, don't let them turn.
~ 6 - Getting ball side of CMs in order to win 2nd ball
~ 9/7/11 - Pressure pushes play centrall; Cover denies weakside CB
