Warm up (15 mins)

Warm-up:

Straight leg march

Cross body shin pull - hand on knee & ankle

Knee pull into lunge

Quad pull into reverse lunge

Spiderman - High foot should land outside of hand and be flat on ground

Inch worms - straight legs

Straight leg skip - put force into the ground

March forward

March skip

Running technique:

Run to line, change direction into lunge and then sprint to next line - do 10

4v1+1 (20 mins)

10x10 grids

A) 4v1

MUST play 2 touch

MUST receive far foot

MUST say name of player passing to

4v1+1:

Groups of 8

1st defender pass ball in and defends

After 3 passes, add 2nd defender

Defenders MUST dribble ball out of grid to end possession (attackers transition to defend quickly)

3v1+1:

Same as 4v1+1 but with only 3 attackers. No restrictions.

Setup:

10x10 grid

2 teams (no more than 8-10 per field)

Small goals on angles as shown

Activity:

Player A touches ball out of feet to start play and passes square to player B who tries to pass into either goal.

Defender can close as soon as player A makes first touch.

Defender scores by winning ball and passing to player A.
