Instructions:

Initial objective of each team is to get the ball from one Target player to another to score.

Progressions:

- 5 split passes between defenders counts as 2 goals

- Counts as 5 goals if a team move the ball from one target player to another and back

- If one of the Blue midfielders manage to dribble pass the half way line with possession of the ball, counts as 2 goals

Coaching points:

- Force opponent to move ball sideways and/or backwards

Organisation:

Set of footballs in both big goals

Play 75 yards long and full width

Blue team in GK-4-3-1

Red team in GK-1-4-3

Instructions:

Play a normal game, but the team in Blue can score in small gates as well.

Coaching points:

- When pressing, show inside for support

- Stop goals in small gates

*Wide forwards pressing

- Nearest defender tucks in and stay 6 yards and in an angle where he can with one step stop a forward pass to opposition midfielders

- Furthest forward tucks in the same direction of 6 yards line and be ready to apply pressure when the switch is on

- Midfield 4 stay nice and compact between the furthest 18 yards line and the place where the ball is ( stop passes in behind and mark opponents in the inside shoulder)

*Ball in CBs or Gooalkeeper

- CFs should not press too high (be patient and wait until opposition is 4-6 yards away from the 18 yards box) and they should stay nice and compact. However, as the ball is traveling wide the nearest CF forward need to be able to stop full back fom scoring in the gates (same apply to midfielders if the ball is immediately played in their zone)

*Ball in Midfield

- Midfielders should press in the same way than the forwards, but now they should take extra precautions to reduce space with man with the ball due to him being closer to the goals; therefore the temptation to shoot being greater
