Organization:
20x30 yard area
3 different sections - with defender standing in each area
Instructions:
1. Players must try to run through the "Gauntlet" and through all three levels before defender pulls pennie
2. Next player in line can begin their run as soon as the player before them passes the first defender
3. If Attacking Player makes it to the end, that is a point for their team
4. If Defending Player pulls the pennie out from Attacking Player, Attacking Player must return to the line and it is a point for the defending team
5. Play for 1-2 minutes then switch defenders
Coaching Points:
1. Attack defenders with speed/pace
2. If contained by the defender, use appropriate move/feint to get to next level
3. Don't wait for the defender, try to be unpredicatble

Organization:

Instructions:
- Players must now dribble through the entire area for a point.
Coaching Points:
1. Attack defenders with speed/pace
2. If contained by the defender, use appropriate move/feint to get to next level
3. Don't wait for the defender, try to be unpredicatble

Organization:
6 cones, 3 lines, 3 players per area.
Instructions:
- Players dribble to either cone on the middle line and perform the scissors.
Coaching Points:
- Using correct feet to turn back to cone
- Angle of movement feint towards 2 o'clock to 10 o'clock (vice versa for opposite foot)
Progressions:
- Remove cone, have both players go at the same time towards each other, getting as close as possible before executing the move; lose a life/point if they run into one another.
- Addition of semi-opposed defender .

Organization:
Same as prior screen
Instructions:
Players now must gauge the speed and timing of doing the move agsinst their teammate.
Coaching Points:
- Using correct feet to get around the cone
- Angle of movement 10 o'clock to 2 o'clock (vice versa for opposite foot)
- Timing of the move required to get around

Organization:
Players split in half, 2 cones where teams start and 1 end zone.
Instructions:
- Teams take it in turns to try and score (dribbling through end zone) as soon as ball goes out or player scores, next pair goes.
- 10 second countdown per "match".
Coaching Points:
1. Get in line to receive the ball and Head up to locate goal
2. Recognition of defender (speed of approach)
3. Choice of which goal to attack based on defender's pressure
4. Quick decision to perform move
5. Head up to find goal, seal off defender after move and accelerate to goal
Progressions:
- Finish with Small-sided Match (3v3, 4v4 or 5v5)

Organization:

Groups of 6 players
Cones / Flags / Markers / Poles (4 different objects matched on each corner)
Instructions:
- First Player in the groups move around the three cones; on coaches command, it's a race to one of the four corners (which ever coach calls out).
- Point to the team of the quicker player.
Coaching Points:
- Head Up
- Quick feet
- Low center of gravity
- Explosive movement to flag or cone that is called
- Quick thinking/decision making
Progressions:
- Opposite of what coach calls (if flag, go to cone and vice versa)
- Vary the movement around the three cones
- Add a pass from the next person in line waiting, and person whose turn it is has to dribble while executing sequence
