Set Up: Space is roughly 40 x 30 with line [cones] seperating two equal halves. Back 4 plus 7/11 used to work the ball around the back. Start with one ball and then add a second ball.

Set Up: Same as before. Now we add 6/8 [or both] into the middle to work on using them as options out of the back. Start with one ball and have the HM work on both sides, or play with 2 balls and have them stay on one side.

Set Up: Same as before. Now we will add the 9/10 into the play to work on playing the ball forward to focus on another option out of the back and quicker attack.

Set Up: Can vary, depending on numbers. Ball always starts with GK and back 6 playing against a front 5. If the back 6 work it out of the half, they have a pattern play, unopposed to goal. If black win they try to score.

Playing Out of Back (15 mins)
Set Up: Size and player numbers can vary but 8 v 8 in a 60 x 30 area would be a good starting space. you will also have a 10 yard zone in the middle of the field. Play starts with coach/server on the sideline. Ball is played into one end and the team in possession has two players enter the other half to act as forwards, and that team tries to work the ball into their forwards in the other side of the box. The defensive team sends in 3 players to start, leaving 5 behind. After every 3 passes, the defending team adds another defender. If the team plays the ball into their forwards, and he completes a pass to a teammate, they are awarded 1 point. If the ball is played to a forward, and they get the ball to the other forward through passing, without the other team getting the ball, it is worth 2 points. Play restarts after each set of points with the scoring team starting with the ball. If the defneding team wins the ball, they try to get the ball back to their half as quickly as possible. The forwards cannot defend that pass back, and if successful, the game switches to the whites attacking, trying to work the ball out of the back. Players working the ball out of back can play into the central channel and would be unopposed.
