Introduction

Defensive unit start from half way inside their own half/edge of the centre circle, 2 player screen in front of the back 4 denying space and an easy pass through to striker. At this point, attacking team are passive and play the ball from side to side to attempt to disorganise the back 6 and to try to create a space to play into the strikers.

Do defenders stay compact even if ball is switched from wing to wing?

If fullback is dragged wide, does the screening midfielder drop in to fill the hole and allow CB to stay more central?

The Game

Game starts from either of the 3 deep lying players and defenders start on the same mark as the introduction, Defence have 5 seconds to reset before blues can start to play after stoppage.

Now, the blue team are actively trying to break through the back 6 and try to score, the back 6 and GK will look to hold the line on the markers and continue to deny the space in front of them and deny any easy ball into the strikers.

If the red team win the ball, can they score in any of the 3 goals that represent wingers and centre forward.
