Conditioned Game (30 mins)

Two teams 9v6, defenders have 9 players setup as shown, trying to play out to the mini goals positions on the wings. Attackers have 6 players and are challenged to win the ball back and score in the goal.

Full width of the pitch but shortended to approx 2/3rds full length.

Ask defending team to take on the following roles;

3x Centre Backs

2x Wing Backs

1x Defensive Mid

2x Centre Mids

Attackers are asked to organise themselves to press high and win the ball quickly. Alter player numbers on the defending team to adjust rate of success.

Technical Passing Pattern (30 mins)

4 point passing and movement pattern. Mirrored left and right and shown as numerical and alphabetical waypoints.

Balls are fed from Brad, each player will pass and move through points 1, 2, 3, 4 & A, B, C, D and dribble through the gate in the wide area on the half way line. Brad alternates who he feeds to, 1 then A then 1 etc. Each player will rotate around the positions in his chain then join the opposite chain to play the other way.

Reinforce [Team Challenge] Can we all try and scan before receiving the ball? also consider what your first touch will look like. Add-in, try to play quickly and with minimal touches whilst also being accurate with our passes.

Game (30 mins)

Shorten the pitch by the depth of each penalty area as i've only got 15 players to work with, play 7v7 with a magic man. Play normal rules including offsides.
