Tackling
Description;
10x10 grid. 1v1. Goals in opposite corners.
1. Tackling from the side.
2. Tackling from Angle.
3. Tackling from behind.
Attacking players just dribble straight - coaches working on the defenders.
Coaching Points;
1. Come in from the side, attack the ball low, lock ankle. Get across the attacker.
2. Come in at the angle, extend body by using outside foot to longate your reach and poke ball away or off the attacker.
3. Immediate chase on the ball, get leg around the ball.
