Coerver Warm Up (20 mins)

Organization: Coerver Technical Drill. 12 Players. 3 in each corner

Instructions:Use different skill moves to move away from the Cone and then Accelerate into space. Right and left depending on coaches instructions.

Coaching Points: Have players concentrate on the right body position and movement when making the skill moves and have them pick their head up when accelerating into space. Make sure players are communicating.

Progressions: Use more advanced Skill Moves and Technique to progress.

Screen 2 (20 mins)

Organization: Possession field 15x15, field to the goal:30x20

Instructions: A defender starts by passing the ball in to the possession team and they outplay a 3v1. After 3 passes they try to score on the big goal (with goalie). A 2nd defender waits in the 2nd field and the first defender can drop down to create a 3v2 situation. If defense wins the bal and connect 1 pass the game stops. (switch defenders on time).

Coaching Points: Movement of the ball, create passing angles, forward movement (attacking the goal). Creative runs (overlaps, inside cuts etc).

Progressions: 3 touch max., time limit which they need to score in.
