Activity 1: Chelsea 1v1's

Description

Set up 2 cones 5 yards apart (4 times). Players must face eachother, in pairs, and are not allowed to step onto the other side of the cone line. Only movement along their side of the cones is allowed. Red starts with the ball, they must use moves and turns to get away from the defender. A point is awarded is Red can dribble and touch one of the two cones without Blue being able to touch them. Switch roles.

Activity 2: 1v1 Tournament (10 mins)

Description

Split field into 4 channels. In each channel you will play a 1v1. The aim is to dribble the ball to the end line and stop it. The games last for a total of 2 minutes, with each play limited to 2 phases (1 transition). Example: Red starts with the ball, if Red goes on to score, the play restarts from the end line with Blue. If Blue takes the ball from Red and goes on to score, then the game restarts with Red. If Blue wins the ball, and red wins it back, the game simply restarts with Blue. If the ball goes out of the channel, the game restarts. We have to make it this way in order to reduce fatigue.
