Passing Circle (15 mins)

Organization: Make a circle, or use the center half circle of a soccer field. Split group into even teams. Place one team on the outside of a circle, with a soccer ball each. The other teams stays inside the circle.

Instructions: Players in the inside must check in to a player with a ball, control it and pass it back to the player, and must immediately turn and check in to another player with a ball. Continue the repetition for about 2 minutes. Then switch the teams, inside goes outside now, and repeat.

Coaching Points:

- Strike the ball with the inside of your foot.

- Hit the center of the ball, lift your foot off the ground, not too high, not too low.

- Communicate and ask for the ball when checking in.

Progressions:

- One touch pass back.
