Warm-Up

Organization:

- Players form a large circle with half the players in the middle and the other half on the edges of the circle with a ball

Instructions:

- Players in the middle checking to a teammate, receiving a pass and playing back to the same teammate

- Progress into one touch, a bouncing ball, a ball into the players chest and then a ball in the air for a header

Instructions:

- 2v1 as the team in possession is trying to keep possession of the ball around the one defender

- Field forming 4 squares in each zone

Instructions:

- 4v4+4 possession. The players stay in their squares but the team in possession is attempting to pass around looking to penetrate through the middle to the other side

- The team in the middle is defending, staying in their squares but working on defensive movement and principles

Crossing and Finishing

Organization:

- Players split into groups using one corner of the field

- Playing to both goals

Instructions:

- First player sprints to the middle of the box and then the next player crosses the ball in for a one touch finish

- The player who just crossed then runs into the box and the next player crosses the ball in and so on

- Keeper can't pass the cone in front of him
