This GK session works on agility, diving, and distribution. A coach could have GK working together on the warm ups, and the first two drills if there are enough players. Otherwise, involve as many players needed so that all players are busy. Make sure that the field players are making quick switches and taking quick shots during scrimmage games, since it is a goal keeping session.

1. Coach throws low ball to GK right. GK dives, saves, recovers and throws ball back to A. GK returns to center of the goal.
2. Coach throws high ball to GK left. GK dives, saves, recovers, and throws low ball to B for a foot trap.
Continue sequence, rotating GKs in to allow for rest. This drill could involve several players so that they can work on receiving balls from the GK and also work on communication.

Players play 4 v 4 and they can score on either side of the goal. Emphasize quick passing, shots, and switching since it is a GK drill. Make sure players are switching the ball so that the GK has to pivot and get set for a new shot from a new angle.

7 v 7 scrimmage (or 2 equal teams). Move the full size goal to midfield (play with distance based on your numbers). Since most of the previous drills dealt with distribution, make sure players are communicating, passing back, and getting open for the keepers.
