Warm up (10 mins)

Passing around the cones, players work on shifting the ball across their body working a passing pattern

Eventual progression would be to introduce straight / diagonal passing

Introduction (30 mins)

Passing and Moving Introduction

Two groups - based on colours, to begin with players start with ball in their hands and blue passes to any blue in their own square, yellow to yellow:

Progressions:

- two colours mix in together

- yellow plays to blue, blue to yellow

- numbers game (1 passes to 2, 2 to 3 etc.)

Ultimate Progression:

Players play regular passes

King/Queen of the Castle (20 mins)

Teams are divided into two squads, each with their own "castle"

Ultimate objective is to steal all balls from the other teams castle to win the game, however once a player enters the other side they can be tagged. If tagged, they go to the "jail" where a teammate has to help get them out by a highfive, answering a question, performing a skill etc.

Promotes teamwork, basic strategies and risk-taking
