1v1 Defending with Technical Warm-up.
1) Have defenders start opposite side of goal and they have to defend the shot by rounding their runs, closing down quickly and forcing them wide. Important to close down but not dive in.
* Have other grid exactly the same but mirroring so players work on defending different angles.
Coaching points: Close down quickly, low stance and and round your run. What happens if you run straight at attacker? (goal is wide open)
*Teach what goal side means!

6v6 Game
Focus is on forcing players wide and not letting opposition dribble or penetrate inside.
Let them play. If you have more just sub them in every 2 minutes. It's important we simulate what they will face every weekend in a real 6v6 game.
