How to Play

Reds keep possession and try to pass to C as often as possible.

If Blues win the ball they try and pass into either mini goal

3 v1 to 4 v 3 (15 mins)

Organisation:

25x25 yd field (10 x 10 yd central area)

Detail:

3 v 1 in the shaded area, when Blue wins the ball, they play to the outside support players

The game then becomes a 4 v 3 in the larger area.

If Reds win the ball during the 4 v 3 they must try get the ball back into the shaded area (run, dribble or pass).

Switch roles every 2 or 3 minutes.

How to Play

Score a point by passing the ball to a teammate in the shaded area.

Players can not stay inside for longer than 3sec.

Recognise early opportunity to play ball to available player.

Defending team when they win the ball must first dribble outside the square then come back in (roles then reverse)

Body shape to receive the ball and assess play

Support on angles in order to maintain a body shape that allows playing forward

Continually adjust body shape and scan play off the ball

Scan and assess in possession
