Warm-Up (20 mins)

12 Players, 14 discs, supply of balls, 6 pinnies

Phase 1 - 5 minutes

Dynamic Warm-up within the 18 yards, 12 players, 12 discs - movements include jog, shuffle, skip, hop, high knees, heel flicks, sprint

Phase 2 - 5 minutes

12 players, 12 discs within 18 yard box - On the coaches command of "GO", players must run to a cone and close down the space

Phase 3 - 5 minutes

12 players, 14 discs within 18 yard box

6 players behind each set of 5 dics. Players shuffle through cones, side shuffle to next cone, then sprint to end cone. Players return to opposite line.

Phase 4 - 5 minutes

20x20 area, 12 players, supply of balls, 6 pinnies

6v6 keep ball. Players look to keep the ball between their team, 4 passes makes a point. When a ball goes out, coach will play another ball in.

No stoppages, let them play

1v1 Global (20 mins)

12 players. Cones to line off pitch. 6 pinnies, supply of balls.

6v6. 44xhalf pitch. 1 player plays behind end line and is restricted to this area. Play starts by the server playing the ball into the attacking team(red) who look to score. Defending team (white) look to win the ball and score on the two gates. When the ball goes out, it always restarts with the server.

Activity - 1v1 defending (20 mins)

12 Players, cones, pinnies. 20x40 area

Goalkeeper starts the play by thowing the ball into the attacker (white). As the ball is moving, the defender (red) comes out to defend. Attackers try to score, if the defender wins the ball, they look to score also. Once the ball is dead, play starts with the opposite goalkeeper playing the ball into red with white defending.
