Organisation:
Full width and 75 yards long
Set of footballs in both goals
Reds in GK-3-4-1
Blues in GK-3-3-2
Instructions:
Play normal game without corner kicks and throw ins
Conditions:
- Both teams need to play the ball wide before a shot
- A goal from a cross counts as 2 goals
- If a winger score inside the 18 yard box, counts 2 goals
- A goal inside the 6 yard box counts as 5 goals
Coaching points:
* If winger is in possession of the ball
- If there is opportunity to cross, then he should cross the ball with pace and bending it either to forwards feet or head
- Can the winger drive with ball to bye line and provide a bacwards pass ball towards either penalty spot or towards the D
- CF, number 10 and opposite winger need to attack front post, penalty spot and back post
- Back 3 need to push high on the field (just over centre circle) and need to be aware of possible transitions
- Deep layer should dictate the D area
* Full back with ball
- Depending on his first touch, the other 2 players need to move along accordingly, in particular the opposite full back (infield touch require width and a touch to touchline require tucking in for defensive balance)
- Movement of the winger depend on direction of play of full back. Whatever the scenario he need to be available to receive the pass
- CF need to be in the same half than full back with possession (use penalty spot and half way line spot as imaginary line as guidance)
*CF with ball
- Midfielders need to provide passing angles and might need to make runs in behind the defenders
- If CF manage to open up a gap between two defenders, then a pass to number 10 require a straight shot
* Ball centrally (either CB or number 10 with it)
- Remaining players should always make pitch wide and long

Organisation:
Set of footballs in both goals
Reds in GK-2-2, Blues in GK-2-2 (+4 Floaters -F)
Instructions: Using half pitch, goalkeepers serve ball to floaters who then either combine with each other or deliver a cross to attacking players
Progressions:
- Floaters can join in and attacking create overloads (maximum allowed is 4v2)
- If team score after a cross then they retain possession and attack the opposite goals
Coaching points:
- Quality of the pass/cross (remember a cross is a pass!)
- Angles to receive the ball
- Can strikers improvise and set up shots for wingers?
- Remember, it is about finishing so power is not necessary primaryy option (placemen!)
- Type of runs in the box
