Phase 1

Phase 1

1) Players to meet at Flint Town United Football Club at 6:30

2) Warm up to be taken by Jonny Hill (Player coach), this will commence at 6:40

3) On completion of warm up players will run (60%-70%) approx 1.5 miles to training ground

4) Onc at training ground Phase 2 will commence.

Phase 2 (10 mins)

Station 1

1) Players can run in pairs and start at 4 Starting positions.

2) Continous run for 10 minutes at 60 to 70%, diagonal and across the box.

3) 1 set then injury prevention exercises before moving onto the next exercise:

- Plank & Side Plank 2 minutes

Phase 2 (10 mins)

Station 2

Starting from the goal line continuous running:

1) 6 yard box and back

2) 18 yard box and back

3) Halfway line and back

4) This will be at 70-80% for 2 minutes and 50% at 1 minute. Total of 9 minutes

5) 1 set then injury prevention exercises before moving onto the next exercise:

- Round the clock lungees 2 minutes

Phase 2 (10 mins)

Station 3

1) Starting from a corner flag maximum sprint to the the edge of the 18 yard box

2) Walk to the next corner flag as shown on the illustration

3) 4 sprints in total makes a set - total of 4 sets

4) 1 set then injury prevention exercises before moving onto the next exercise:

- Cariocas 2 ways for 10 yards x sets

- Burpees x 10 x 2 sets

Phase 3

Phase 3 Set up

Full size pitch 11 v 11

10 x Blue Bibs

10 x Red Bibs

12 x poles

Description

1) One side play a 4-3-3 formation and the other side play a 3-5-2 formation

2) Game is to be played at a high tempo for 12 minutes with 3 minute breaks

3) During the 3 minute break coach will tell players what they did wrong using the aid of a tactic board

4) There will be a total of 4 x 12 minutes, pls 4 x 3 minute breaks.

5) Players will be given numbers when their number is called they must sprint to the furthest corner gate, and enter the field of play again at the halfway line gate. They must now find a recovery run or an attacking position to help their team mates.

1) Players will run (60%-70%) approx 1.5 miles back to Flint Town United Football Club

2) Once at ground a light warm down to be completed.
