Stations (10 mins)

3 Stations-1st Station: Place cones across from a few noodles.

-Tell each player to get a ball and stand at a cone. Progress from no ball to ball. Have them run and jump over noodles and then come back..show them. Have them gallop and jump over noodles and come back. Have them skip around the noodles and come back. Have them hop over to the noodles and back.

-Now use a ball. Have them Dribble and touch a noodle and back. Have them dribble ball around the noodle and back. show them.

Station 2 : Have them stand by a hula hoop with a ball next to them. No ball at first then add ball. Have them jump into the hula hoop and then have them jump out of the hula hoop. Can you do it more than once. Can you stand on one leg? Can you jump on one leg? Can you hop in and out of hula hoop on one leg.

-Can you dribble around 2 hula hoops? Can you dribble around three without hitting another players ball?

Station 3-Body Awareness: NO ball at first. Have them find a certain color poly spot. Send them to find a ball and bring back to their spot. Can you put the ball on your head? Can you put the ball on your thigh? Can you toss the ball up and catch it? Can you dribble around 2 different colors and then put the ball on your head? Can you bring a coach your ball? Send for water!

Start / Freeze (10 mins)

Crazy Statue Freeze / Start Command Game- 20 x 30 yrd coned area

Have players move around the area with a certain movement instructed by the coach.

Start with Walking and when you have their attention then say Freeze and they have to freeze as a "Crazy Statue".

Then proceed to the following:

-Running

-Hopping

-Galloping

-Skipping

-Bouncing Ball

-Dribbling ball

-Dribble fast

-Dribble slow

Through the Forest (10 mins)

Through the Forrest - 20 x 30 yrd coned area

Put all your cones, poly spots, hula hoops, and noodles inside the area to make abunch of obsticles for the players.

On the coaches command they players must walk through the obsticals to the other side without touching anything.

Next have them run through but they must go a different way each time.

Then:

Hop through the forrest

Gallop through the forrest

Dribble through the forrest

Add, the coach as a monkey who can tag them. Try to get across without getting tagged.

Open Goals (10 mins)

OPEN GOALS: 20x30 yard coned area

Bring everyone in. Tell them they will be dribbling to a goal and kicking the ball into the net. once they score they will grab their ball and bring it back to the center and they must give one of the coaches a "High Five". Once they "High Five" the coach they can then go and score on a different goal. How many goals can you score?
