Pitch Runs (30 mins)

Organisation

Players pair up, with a ball between 2.

Pitch is divided with additional lines shown.

One Player works with the ball whilst the other recovers on the end line.

Runs are as follows;

1. RWTB to the 18 yard line, turn & pass to partner, sprint in. x2

2. RWTB to the 18 yard line, leave it, sprint to the next red line and back to the ball, pass in,sprint in.

3. RWTB to the first red line, leave it, sprint to the halfway line & back to the ball, pass in, sprint in.

4. RWTB to the halfway line, turn & run back to the red line, pass in, sprint in.

5. RWTB to the halfway line, leave it, sprint to the next red line & back to the ball, RWTB to the first red line, pass in, sprint in.

6. RWTB to the 2nd red line, turn & RWTB to the halfway line,turn & RWTB to the 2nd red line, leave the ball, sprint to the end red line, turn and run back to the ball the RWTB to the 18 yard line, pass in, sprint in.

SSGs (40 mins)

Organisation

4 teams play SSGs against each other on 2 different sized pitches.

8 minute games with 4 minutes rest after each game.

On 8 minutes, players sprint around the goal they were attacking and onto the other pitch before the 4 minutes rest starts.
