Ball Manipulation Exercise

20 by 20 area, split into 4 boxes, 3 players in each box each with their own ball.

Coach starts by getting players used to the area they are working in, they cannot go outside of their square. Players dribble their soccer ball in their square using all parts of their foot.

Once players have had plenty of touches, the coach will bring in toe touches and side to sides to do in their square.

Once coach shouts switch the players have to leave their ball and find another soccer ball in the grid as quickly as they can!

Progression:

1) Players move into another grid with theie ball when coach says switch

2) The players who are lost have to do a soccer specific punishment - 30 seconds of toe taps/side to sides
