Organization:
Set up a 30x40 grid. Play 4v4. Increase zones to 5 yards deep.
Activity:
Same rules as prior activity, now player receiving ball in end zone must try to hit ball off cone. 4 points for hitting ball off cone, 1 point for an attempt.
Variations:
Replace cone/ball with mini goals
Coaching Points:
-When to dribble, when to pass, identify visual cues: 1v1 space to attack defender, free space in front to dribble, movement of player off ball to attack end zone.
Coaching Question:
Could we score off a wall pass or three man combination?

4 vs. 4 to four small goals
Activity:
Team try to score by keeping possession of ball and recognizing when is the right time to play penetrating ball for a score.
Variations:
-Goal can be turned into gate to dribble through
Coaching Points:
-What texture pass is needed for my teammate to recieve ball in end zone? High lofted ball or driven low ball!
-Can we play a ball out backline into forward to create an opportunity?

4v4 to End Zones (15 mins)
Organization:
Set up a 30x40 grid. Play 4v4 to 2yd end zones behind the 35yd line.
Activity:
To score, the attcking team needs to pass to a teammate in the endzone. The attacking player must time his/her run to receive ball in the end zone and score. Player cannot enter end zone before the ball.
Variations:
-Give player option to dribble into end zone for a score.
