Screen 1 (10 mins)

Set Up: 20x30 grid, 2 balls, extra balls incase needed at both sides, 10+ players, cones set up as per diagram

Instructions: Warm up... players pass and follow the pass as per diagram

Coaching points: accuracy of pass proper weight, body adjustment, movement off the ball, what foot to play to, what to receive...

When they are confortable in counter clockwise, change direction, change to couter clockwork ...so they are playing and receiving with other foot as well...

Screen 2 (15 mins)

Progression...passing sequence...Instructions...Player a A plays to B and contues forward to get pass back from B, and the plays to C, B makes an adjustment in possitioning to receive from C, and plays ball back to C who is make a peal out run...plays next player on other side and starts all over the other direction, 2 balls play at same time. ( rotation...A moves to B spot, B moves to C spot, and see goes to A spot on other side)

Coaching points...were to play the ball, movement off the ball, check away and show, proper movement for the peal out run to stay connected to the play

Screen 3 (15 mins)

Progression...change passing sequence to Over lapping run, with rotational play to spring the runner.

Instructions: A passes to B and gets it back, as A combines with C and gets it back, B makes an over lapping run on the outside of C and receives a through ball from A... Rotational play between A with B and C to spring B for thr overlap...

Coaching points: Movement off the ball, body adjustments, quality of service,n stay connected with play, timing of the runs... no time for players to switch off ( stay alert)

Screen 4 (20 mins)

Possession Session

Set up :Same 20 x 30 grid 3 teams of 4 or 3 of 3 with neutrals 1 ball

Instructions: 2 teams keep possesion 1 defends, team that looses the ball becomes defending team, ( quick game of transitioning)

Coaching points: look for creative passing sequences, objective is to keep the ball don't force it if, its not on. speed of play depends on movement and anticipation off the ball.... look to create good supporting options all the time, proper body adjustments to see feild better...ect

Screen 5 (25 mins)

Progression .... Increasing speed of play ( 4 Gate game)

Set up: make grid bigger to 30 X 40, 4 gates as per diagram, 1 ball, plenty of extra balls arround the grid, 2 teams, and neutrals that play with attacking team.

Instructions: Possesion with a purpose, most inportant thing is to keep the ball with the intent to combine passes through 2 gates for a goal ( 1 point), if complete only one gate and the other team gets possesion, gate count starts over on your next possession.

Coaching points: play quick, make good decisions on and off the ball, anticipate, don't force siduation just to get a gate completion most important thing is to keep the ball and create the right moment to score through gates...
