Screen 1 (15 mins)

Session Objective:

To develop ball skills to keep possession as a team in tight areas

Organisation:

2 players in the middle to chase and try to get a touch on the ball. Change with outer player if you intercept pass.

Screen 2 (20 mins)

Session Objective:

Possesion: Touches

Organisation:

Centre Circle of the pitch

Players all in the centre circle with a ball each dribbling

Touches of the ball. inside and outside of the foot.

Progress to turns (inside and outside hook).

Key Factors:

Small touches in tight areas

Balance when dribbling and in possession

Head up when in possession of the ball

Screen 3 (15 mins)

Session Objective:

Long Play: PAssing and Receiving

Organisation:

20x20 Grid.

Blue with the ball plays to another blue down the line (following the pass). Blue2 receives, opens up and plays to Blue3 (following the pass). Blue3 receives and passes to Blue4 (following the pass). Blue4 receives and plays in to Blue player.

Progression: Encourage to use two balls in the exercise

Blue movement away from the corner to create space

Using the inside of the foot to pass and receive

Receiving the ball on the back foot to force the ball into the space.

Screen 4 (15 mins)

Session Objective:

Movement to create space to play a pass.

Organisation:

25x25 Grid

Progression: Blue passes down the to Blue2 who plays the ball ball back in to Blue1's path. Movement from Blue2 is key to this to get around the cone (Defender) and then receives the ball from Blue1 (Pass 3). then plays the ball in to the next Blue (Pass4) who sets it back (Pass5). Movement is made and Pass6 is played.

Pass1 is made From A to B, B sets back (Pass 2) to A who plays a long diagonal ball (PASS3) to C. C SETs back (PAss4) to B who plays a diagonal ball (Pass5) to D. D Sets it back (Pass6) to C who plays a giagonal ball (Pass7) to the start.
