Screen 1 (25 mins)

8x8 grid(adjust according to age group) set up players as above.

Player 1 passes to 2 who then release to 3 , as soon as the ball is release to 3 player 1 will defend.

CPs: good firm pass from player 1 and 2, demand details from player 2 and 3, check choulders and receive with back foot from player 2 to be able to play a one touch pass to player 3.

player 3 checks away from the the cone check choulders and takes positve touch.

defending players look for pricnciples of defending: FAST SLOW SIDEWAYS LOW demand tempo and communication from group.

Screen 2 (25 mins)

same as the first but now players 2 make an overlap run to make it a 2v1

CPs: firm passes, demand details as the first exercise, time of run from overlaping player.

defending players now need to think about forcing the play to one side only and have vision of the two players.
