Organization:
1. 30x30 yard area with 5x5 in the middle.
2. 12 players - 6 attackers and 6 defenders (set up as shown) plus 1 neutral.
3. 1 ball
Instructions:
1. Teams play 4v4 inside the area with two target players positioned on the outside of the area
2. One team plays North to South the other team plays East to West
3. The objective of the practice is recieve from one target player and play to the next, this action scores a point if they go thru the neutral in the middle score is doubled.
4. If the defending team wins the ball they should look to pass out to their target player
5. Rotate target players after a set time limit
6. Keep score
Coaching Points:
1. Players on the inside should check at angles so that their body position is side on to play forward quickly
2. Awareness - receiving player should check both shoulders before the ball arrive to assess options
3. Inside players should look to be positive and create space in order to play forward
4. Width and depth is important to create spaces as group
5. Target players on the outside need to be aware which foot to pass into – high pressure front foot, low pressure back foot
Progressions:
1. Two touch limit on the inside
2. Players on the inside can not pass backwards to target players only forward
3. Defender can press neutral player after receiving the ball.

Organization:
1. 40x30 yard area - two end zones 2x30 yards
2. 12 players - 6 attackers and 6 defenders (set up as shown)
3. 1 ball
Instructions:
1. The activity starts by four defending players crossing the halfway line and running back to touch the attacking team’s end zone.
2. The objective for the attacking team is to penetrate into the end zone with either a pass or a dribble.
3. Offside rules do apply
4. If the defending team wins the ball there objective is to pass forward to their waiting teams mates (strikers)
5. The attacking team then transitions over to become the defending team and the action is then repeated in the opposite half
Coaching Points:
1.Maintain width to try and create the opportunity to penetrate with a dribble
2.When to play to feet, when to play to space (chipped ball in behind)
3.Timing of the run in behind defensive line
4.Move the ball quickly to unbalance defensive line
5.Be patient
Progressions:
1. Two touch limit
2. Allow a 5th defender to enter

Instructions:
1. Teams play 4v4+4 to goal - making the team on possession 8v4
2. The team in possession has the option to combine with players on the outside
3. Players on the outside of the area can move anywhere around the field to support the ball
4. When the ball leave the field the game restarts from goalkeeper (no corner or throw ins)
Coaching Points:
1. Angles and distnace of support from the players on the outside
2. Players on the inside should be encouraged to play forward as often as possible
3. Movement away from the ball to create width and depth
Progressions:
1. Two touch limit on the inside
2. One touch limit on the outside

Instructions:
Ball must go from neutral to neutral using either outside or inside player.
Ball must be on the ground.
Defender can pressure outside players.
When attacker loose the ball they become defender.
Coaching Points:
Create space thru the middle by opening field.
Create space thru the side by checking in from center defender.
Play off defender shoulder.
Quick transition from attack and defense.
Progressions:
Limitnumber of touches by outside players
