Screen 1 (15 mins)

Station I Speed and agility (10 min) Ages 7 and 8 (Frank)

Players will perform movements in different stations for 1.5 mins then rotate

No ball first, second time around with a ball

Running Mechanics (15 mins)

Running mechanics:

3 sets

Between first two cones (3 yards apart), players stride out to touch floor, backpedal back to starting position and into 3-point stance - then on command sprint to far cone (13 yards from 1st cone)

Players then are backpedalling to 2nd cone, moving forward back to starting position and on command, turn and sprint to far cone

1 vs. 1 Chase (3 sets)

Players are numbered 1 and 2 in pairs. Players then moving round 20 x 20 grid; on command, if 1 is called, player 2 must try and tag player 1 within 10 seconds. If 2 is called, player 1 must tag player 2. If player is caught/unable to catch opponent - forfeit of 2 burpees.

SHARPNESS OF MIND AND AEROBIC LEVELS - organise pitch into four areas A'B'C'D you also have an area in the centre E you organise three teams of three with one in area E and one complete team in area D you then instruct each player from third team to enter area A'B and C - the practice starts with plrs in area D completing three passes under pressure from one plr from area E entering area D to create a 3v1 on achieving three passes they then pass to area A and as ball in delivered the plr in area C and B should sprint to area A and link up with team mate on his touch another plr from area E enters and becomes pressing plr meanwhile the two of the plrs who were in area D sprint to area C and B ready to become option for passs ,after completing three passes the team can pass into any waiting areas and a mirror image occurs if the defenders in area E gain possesion or press a mistake from offensive teams they then become attackers and team who lost possesion become defenders- when plrs understand the game and it is played at pace 'it becomes very demanding both physically and mentally be carefull not to demand too much of you're plrs i.e allow drink breaks and recovery time '

Turning 1v1 (15 mins)

Change of Direction Ex Sm Sided Game (15 min)

Defender plays ball to Attacker & closes down. A uses change of direction to get to goals & score. 20 seconds or goal. A & D switch ea 3 minutes. CP: Reach, cut, block, accelerate away. Be creative & unprictable.

Expanded Small Sides Game (30 mins)

4 v 4 (15 min)

4 v 4 w/2 neutrals. switch ea two min or two goal. Restrictions: 5 touches before shooting. Double points for goals off of 1-2 passes, overlaps, switching point of attack, wall passes

CP: Movement off ea pass, open hips to target, keep it simple

Progression: 6 v 6 No Restrictions (15 min)
