Intro Games

Players are split into 3v3/3v4/4v4 on two pitches. The pitch has 3 channels and 3 zones.

The reds must make a pass into all 3 channels before they can score, the blues can score immediately on regaining possession.

The rules help the blues to start to predict where the ball will go next and either shut off that channel or press intelligently when the ball is in that zone.

Rotate team conditions.

The goals are now places in the corners of the pitch. A goal can only be scored from the channel it is in. The defending team are encouraged to press the ball with good body shape and cover to keep play in the channels away from their own goal and toward the goal they are attacking.

Finish with free play.
