Organization:

2 lines, dynamic warm up

Instructions:

Players perform dynamic movements synchronized to help get them physically ready for practice.

4 channel game

Organization:

2 teams and 4 channels

Instructions:

Players must stay in the channels and the game is to get the ball from 1 channel to the next to score a point. If the defending team win the ball then they are also trying to score in the same way.

Coaching Points:

1. Working as a unit to plug the gaps

2. Pressure, cover, balance in defense

3. Quick transition as the ball moves

4. Keep pressure on ball if attackers dribble

Progressions:

Allow 1 defender into zone to try and win the ball

Instructions:

Defending team starts the game and plays to the attacking team.

Coaching Points:

1. Pressure, cover, balance in defense

2. Communication where they want to force the ball

3. Quick transition as ball moves or is dribbled

4. Quick transition when ball is won to try and score
