Warm up 1000 touches (15 mins)

Organisation - Each Player has a ball, Moving around the circle. Challenge is to get 1000 touches on the ball in 15 mins.

Boys will not be given any set instructions other than they have 10 mins to get as many touches on the ball as they can.

Praise boys who :-

-Use our Ball skills from previous sessions

-Use different parts of the feet

-Changing directions often

-Tempo of movement & feet.

-Awareness of whats around them

Will stop the boys after 7.5 mins - Breather and so they know they are halfway so should be around 500 touches if less then they need to work quicker but maintain the quality.

Tech (15 mins)

Organisation - Boys in 3's working in the same circle as Warm Up. 2 of the 3 start on the outside whilst the other works on the inside. Booys dribble into the area and perform turn from Mondays session.

Can they remember the 3 dribblers we looked at and the difference between them. ( Messi, Ronaldo, Xavi )

Learning Objectives Individual - When to perform turn or change of direction to beat the player in the middle. Awareness of middle players... Do you speed up to get passed them or slow down ?

Progression - Ask players on the outside to move around outer line to make sure players in the middle get there head up.

Coaching Styles Used - Guided discovery, Q&A, Demo

-Change of pace

-Variety of turns

Technical - Dribbling, Turning, ABC's

1v1 Continous (20 mins)

Organisation - Continous 1v1. Attackers are put into partners once your partner has had their shot whether they score or not you can then enter into the middle collect a ball and attack a goal. Repeat.
