Screen 1

Set Up: L20xW35 Can adjust acccording to number of players.

Description: "Crocodile Game" middle zone is the river. Start with 2 players in the middle being attached, (holding hands or a pennie between the 2), the rest of the players are on one side of the river. Players will try to run from one side of the river to the other, while the "crocodile" will try to tag them. Once a player gets tagged then they will join up with the "crocodile". Players will wait to cross again until all players across or tagged.

Progression:

Have 2 "crocodiles" in the middle seperate from each other.

Screen 2

Set Up: 40x30grid, 2 even teams. coach has balls and starts each game.

Description: 2v2 Start with what ever side Coach passes the ball to sends in 2 attacker and the other side sends 2 defenders. play until it leaves the grid. keep score. If the defenders win the ball they can score in opposite goal.

Progression: 2 ways you can call numbers 1st number is red and second is green, or play 2v2 alternating lines you pass to.

Screen 3

Set Up: 30x 45y grid.

Description: 3v2 Game coach plays the ball to the attackers and they try to beat defenders across their end line (possession not kick). You should be using back 2. Focus on proper shape of the defenders with 1st defender pressure, 2nd defender cover. Instruction as to where exactly they should be, and where should they move to cover and balance, as well as where to go when they get beat. If defenders win the ball they can score with possession across attackers line.

6. can you retain possession and attack

Progression: Increase size of grid, add counter goals or neutral player.

Screen 4 (20 mins)

Set Up: 40x45y with 2 counter small goals.

Description: 4v3 situation Defenders stay compact midfielders now can be taught when to pressure the backs. proper shape behind the ball. pressure cover and balance. Ques to win the ball. attackers head down, bad touch, near sideline, or turns back. Defenders now need to counter to 2 small goals to try and score, not just win the ball and stop or kick it out of bounds.

Start with back 2 then progress to add defenders and attackers make sure there are more defenders then attackers until highly successful. If good enough even numbers

Progression: 2 big goals add numbers of players
