Speed - acceleration / deceleration

Grid size - 20 Red cones in a circle each 1 foot apart, 15 White cones inside the red circle each 1 foot apart.

Challenge - Acceleration & Decceleration - Accelerate when your inside the white circle, avoiding the blue cones and the other players, running into decceleration area 'inbetween the red and white cones' then volley the ball back to the feeder, then accelerate back out and find another feeder. Feeders that are waiting for a reciever do 5 squats and 2 side lunges, switch feeder and reciever after a few minutes so every player gets a good feel for the exercise.

Learning Outcomes - Learning how to accelerate and deccelrate.

Physical - Speed.

Technical - Movement off the ball.

Warm Up - Slow jog twice through, fast jog twice through, high knee drives, kick back, front foot walk throughs, heel walk throughs, lunges jog back, side steps, carioca open/close gate.
