Screen 2 (25 mins)

5 v 2 in ' 15 x 15 ' square.

Incorporate into warm up.

Players moving to receive in tight areas.

Defending 2 press together - communication, decisions, speed.

1 minute defending per pair - competition - which pair intercepts the most times in a minute.

Limit to 2 / 1 touch in possession.

Make defending time longer to improve fitness.

Passing drill to focus on ...

opposite movement to receive

1st touch - set

third man runs - timing / speed

Drill set up as shown.

middle players always set up in triangle shape.

First player feints to receive then spins to receive set of second man, then plays third man ( in between mannequins ) who plays out and follows his pass.

Build up to a high tempo.

Ideal for pre match warm ups.

Screen 4 (45 mins)

9 v 9 box to box game focusing on attacking as a team

Both teams set up in a 3,3,2 formation

Focus on........

2 full backs pushing on to support attack

Central defender attempt 'back to front' passes ( longer )

Can pivot player get on the ball to start attacks

2 wide midfielders- take on full backs, roll inside, crosses , breaking lines

2 strikers- one drop into whole when defending deep presses low, make channel runs

Expect to lose possession- organisation
