Ghostblasters (25 mins)

Organization:

30x20 yard area as shown

Only ghostsbuster has a ball

Instructions:

The Ghosts (players) have taken over NYC (playing area)

The Ghostbuster (coach/selected player) must try to make the city safe again by ridding the streets of ghosts by shooting them with his/her ghostblaster (striking his/her ball at the players hitting their knee or anywhere below).

If a Ghost leaves the city or is hit by ghostblaster they are turned into a Ghostbuster and collect their ghostblaster (ball)

Game ends when there is one ghost left

(reward for being the last ghost is being captain during scrimmage)

Coaching Points:

- Try to get as close as possible to a Ghost before shooting your blaster.

- Keep head up in order to see where the ghosts are hiding.

- Try to make sure you aim for a Ghost and not just shoot your blaster into the city to harm innocent citizens.

Progressions:

The ghostblaster will only work if use it properly (using designated part of foot – inside or laces, if players use their toes then their blaster miss-fires and won't capture the ghost)
