Follow the leader - General Movement

 Organization:

Set up a 20m x 20m. Players are in pairs.

 Procedure:

Players without a soccer ball. The 2nd player following around and do what the leader players do. I.E Jogging, Skipping and hopping. After a period of time add a soccer ball. Players swap around after 30 seconds.

Changing direction

Agility, balance, coordination

Big Bad Coach - General Movement

 Organization:

20m x 20m grid. All players with a soccer ball.

 Procedure:

The players dribble around within the grid. The coach (Big Bad Coach) must attempt to kick the players ball out the grid. Once a player has had his/her kicked out the grid or has dribbled outside the grid, they must bring ot back into the area and stand with the ball above their head with their feet shoulder width apart in a stationary position. Players can get back into the game only when a teammate passes their ball through the teammates legs.Ensure all players are Big Bad Coach.

Soccer Technique - Catch me

 Organization:

Set up 20m x 20m grid with cones scattered around within the grid

Procedure:

Players are in pairs with one soccer ball between them. The 1st player starts running with the ball (using right foot) around the cone. The 2nd players try to catch them. When players reach the cone, they are safe. Change partners every 30 seconds.

 Progression:

Players are encouraged to use the opposite foot.

 Emphasis:

Running with the ball

Dribbling

Changing direction

Agility, balance, Coordination

Imagination

4 Pugg nets, Divide the field into two, plenty of soccer balls at the in hand.
