Organization:
1. Four 20x15 boxes
2. Three attacking players with a ball plus 1 defender.
Instructions:
1.Players attempt to pass the ball around area, keeping possession, get point for every 3 passes.
2.If the attacker loses possession, defender pass the ball on their own side.
3. After 3 passes a 2nd defender allowed in.
Coaching Points:
1.Spacial and tactical awareness
2.Communication
3.Transitioning and taking on a new role in a matchlike situation.
4.angle of passes and support.
Progressions:
1.After 3 passes, connect with teammates in adjacent box for 2 extra points.
2. After 3 passes second defender allowed in the next box.

Organization:
30x20 area
6 vs 3 possession game, outside players not allowed in the box and limited to one touch
Instructions:
Attackers must go through middle line to try and find target player (number 9) who has 1 touch, shot is looking to be taken by number 10.
Coaching Points:
- Movement of number 8 and 10 to open up passing lanes to number 9
- awareness of number before receiving of number 10
- 3rd man run of number 10

Organization:
3/4 Field
7 defending players (1GK, 4 defenders, 2 midfielders)
6 attacking players (3 midfielders, 3 forwards)
2 neutral players (stay between flags. target players for defending team. support for attacking team)
Instructions:
- Neutral players can only play to the midfielders on the attacking team
- Defending team must play on the ground to neutral target players feet in order to score
- Attacking team must look to possess playing through the midfield, creating overloads, and penetrating to get to goal.
- Look to play combination patterns (give/go, double pass, overlap, etc.) to exploit the space.
Coaching Points:
- Head up to find space, teammates in field of play and/or target
- Teammates in field of play must move to create angles of support to receive pass and/or to pull their defender out of the way to create a passing lane for other teammates or target
- Play pass to proper (back) foot to assist next action for teammates receiving the ball
- Try not to have all teammates on the same line (vertical or horizontal)
- Do not have all teammates check to the same space to get ball from teammate on the ball
- Maintain shape and possess in the midfield to create gaps to attack
Progressions:
- Add a third midfielder for the defensive team
- 5 Passes among the attacking team = 1 goal (If defensive team sits back too much)

Warm Up (15 mins)
Organization:
1. Area set up as shown.
2. Two players with pinnies as defenders, the rest are attacking.
3. One ball with additional if needed.
Instructions:
1. Attacking players will play keep away from the defenders.
2. Play starts with the first pass being free, attackers pass the ball around the area trying to keep it away from defenders.
3. If a defender wins the ball, they switch places with the player that lost the ball to the defender.
4. If the pass goes outside of the circle, the player that made the bad pass, or the player that did not properly receive the ball will take the place of the defender that has been in the middle the longest.
5. Defenders will play for 2 minutes and/or until they win the ball.

1. Passing: weight, accuracy, to feet, into space
2. First touch
3. Communication
Progressions:
1. P - Make area smaller
2. R - Make area larger
3. P - Limit the number of touches.
