Screen 1 (15 mins)

Set Up

Start with 1 person on each of the two centre posts. The rest spread out on each corner post. The circuit starts with 4 x balls, one in each corner. Need min 10 players for this to work. Every time a pass is made you follow your pass, complete a one-two and turn to be ready for the next pass into you. Keep the circuit going and repeat in the opposite direction.

Progressions

Start with one-two's at each post. Then progress so that when you're at the middle posts you don't one-two instead you receive the ball on the back foot, take it around the post and pass to the next post. Outside posts continue with one-two's. To finish with, allow players to recevie/ pass with one-two or not as a free-play element. Encourage some flair and flicks at this point, quality high however.

Key Points

Quality of pass, receiving and movement. Good weight of pass, sharp and desicive. Good bounce passess, take the pace out of the ball, cushion the one-two. Half a yard back, full yard forward to receive off the post. Move the ball quickly, run quickly.
